Kahlan walked into the dining room to see her new sister, Nicci Sophia talking to her father, King Arthur. Katsa, Brom, and Craig walked in behind her.

i walk in and see the king and say studdering "tha tha thats theee king"

"Yeah, that's the King." Katsa says, and goes and takes her seat, with Brom following her.

I look at kahlan and ask "so uhh were do I sit?"

"How about next to Nicci." She said, and pointed at her sister.

Violet sat Mia down and sat down next to her sister

"at the head table but I am not of the royal family" I say conused but sit down any way

Nicci Sophia turns to see a boy sit next to her. "Who are you?" she asked, sort of scared. She was very scared of strangers. Exspecially men.

Violet laughed as her sisters stomach growled

"my name is shadeknight, and worry not there is no reason to be scared of me"

Nicci's hand was near her dagger, just incase he was lying. "Alright." She said.

I see her dagger and say "hmm nice dagger"

Nicci's face flushed. "Uhm, thank you?" She said.

Violet sighed and said to shadowknight always trying to find tronule are you now

I laugh and say " why would a pricess like you carry a dagger"

Nicci looked offended. "BEcause, I was almost killed by bandits, thats why." She said.

"then I'm sorry if I offended you "

"Its.... Alright." Nicci said, and pulled her braid of black hair over her shoulder.

I think and say "are you adopted by the king also?

"All three of us are." Nicci awnsered.

"he seems ti be the niccest king I've ever heard of" I say remembering all the others

"Yeah, he is to me, Kahlan, and Alexandra. But, appearntly, he's 'too nice' to the Queen." Nicci said darkly.

I sigh "yes so I've heard he lets lancelot and her do whatever they want"

Nicci gave him a dark look. "Of course he does." She said.
